Additional Information | This issue has a call for upcoming Dakota Catholic gathering at Rosebud Agency, South Dakota (based on the events and organization of the Sioux Catholic Conference from the previous summer) in order to learn and teach about the Catholic faith. There is a letter from David Hewanji, listing the contributions to the church from different members. This issue also contains a “Supplement” from Our School Children’s Department, in English. There is an announcement of the coming Catholic Indian Congress at Rosebud Agency, South Dakota, but a note that Fort Totten natives will not attend because of the long travel distance. There letters to Fr. Jerome from the Convent of Indian Sisters (Ft. Berthold, North Dakota), Holy Rosary Mission (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), and the Agricultural Boarding School (Standing Rock). |
