As in the previous months, this issue also contains a “Supplement” from Our School Children’s Department. Here we have some news, partially repeated from the Dakota section but in English, stating that on July 11 Hoke Smith (Secretary of Interior) visited Fort Totten, as well as notes on the previous and the new Sioux Catholic Indian Congresses. This is followed by a transcription (in Dakota) of the question/answers during the visit of Rev. Bishop Marty to the St. Francis Mission at Rosebud Agency, South Dakota. Finally, there is a page from the treasurer, with a list of donations/contributions and fund gatherings from different missions and organization in South/North Dakota. |
